U-Taste kitchen cooking tong set is made of 18/8 stainless steel and food grade silicone. The upgraded food serving tongs have a smooth locking mechanism. With the added gaskets, you can easily lock and unlock the tongs. With more and larger 18/10 stainless steel springs, they achieve a great balance between being too tight to open and too loose to grasp food. Simply hold the open tongs closed, pull the tab out to lock them closed and push the tab in to re-open for grabbing food. The pin that holds the two parts of the tong is tightly secured, preventing any breaking issues.

The silicone-tipped tongs are made of food grade silicone, which is sturdier and has higher heat resistance (up to 600℉) than the basic.
